Two people were killed in a shooting that took place today around 3:20 p.m. in Podgorica, at the roundabout at the intersection of the main roads Podgorica - Cetinje - Nikšić.
The Police Administration announced that two people were injured in the shooting, to which they soon succumbed, while the perpetrators fled the scene.
The media reports that Petar Lipovina and Žarko Pejaković were killed.
"In another part of the city, a burnt-out vehicle used by the perpetrators was found.
The police are undertaking intensive activities within their jurisdiction in order to shed light on this event, locate and prosecute the perpetrator or more of them," the police said in a press release.
According to Vijesta, the attackers were in an Opel car when they opened fire on a moving BMW.
There were big traffic jams in that part of the city, and all emergency teams and available police teams are on the scene.
