Popović: The opposition will have more candidates, mostly party leaders

The leader of the Liberal Party, Andrija Popović, said after the meeting of the opposition where a joint presidential candidate was discussed, that the epilogue of the meeting was such that there would probably not be a joint candidate.
This is one of a series of meetings of the sovereignist bloc. The whole story will continue in a few days. Basically what we concluded is that we probably won't have a common candidate. There will be more of them within the sovereignist bloc, they will mostly be party leaders - he said.
He said that the story about non-party figures is no longer current.
By the end of the week, we expect a final decision to see how many candidates the sovereignist bloc will go with - concluded Popović.
Popović points out that the Liberal Party will soon come out with a position on how it will deal with and whether it will have a candidate in the elections.
Difficult moments for Montenegro, there are many candidates who are under the umbrella of the SPC, and it is not fair to a citizen whose only homeland is Montenegro, that we do not have our own candidate. All deadlines are running out, but everything will be known in a few days - he pointed out.
I insisted on the candidacy of Đukanović
When asked if he expects the candidacy of current president Milo Đukanović, Popović answered in the affirmative.
I insisted on the candidacy of the DPS leader as the strongest party. I don't have an answer yet, but I assume that we will have it in a few days - he said.
He also said that the tests show that it is clear that several candidates of the sovereignist bloc would animate more voters than if it were one candidate.
