Predrag Zenović appointed the main negotiator of Montenegro with the EU

Predrag Zenović was appointed Chief Negotiator of Montenegro with the EU.

This was decided on the Government's session, and confirmed at the press conference by the Minister of the European Affairs Maide Gorčević.

As a chief negotiator, with colleagues from the European Affairs, working on the goal that defined the citizens of Montenegro, and that is that Montenegro is the first next member of the European Union.

He added that in front of the Ministry of European Affairs, the period, and to see the strengthening of the negotiation structure and accelerating the negotiation process as its most important task.

It is important to establish harmony between the political and expert-technical segment that exists within the negotiation process, with a special emphasis on cluster number 1 and the interim benchmarks from the negotiating chapters 23 and 24 - Zenović pointed out.

According to him, it is important that the path to European integration is established as a broader social dialogue in which citizens, the academic community, the civil sector, the first in order for Montenegro to be the first European family member.

Zenović is a lecturer and researcher in humanities at the University of Donja Gorica.

He graduated from FPN in Belgrade, and a master's degree in international and human rights at the Faculty of Law in Riga.

Education has perfected by settled doctoral studies in the field of political theory and European studies in Italy and Geneva, and was a scholarship holder in the postdoctoral program in Bucharest.

He is, among other things, the Fulbright Scholarship, the author of two books and numerous works in domestic and international journals.

We remind him, Montenegro is without the main negotiator since November last year, when the former European Job Minister Jovan Marovic, who performed the duty of the main negotiator, resigned.

Gorčević: The government will complete the obligations on the road to the EU in the record time

European Job Minister Maida Gorčević said that the 44th government has shown that it has a rapid pace when it comes to negotiations with the EU.

I think we pressed the button to unblock the process. When the chapters are 23 and 24, we already have new appointments in the judiciary, the choice of VDTs and numerous reforms are expected. What to be the government we will end up in record time, as we did during the first two months, she told reporters at the press conference.
