At the invitation of the President Jakov Milatović, the President of the Republic of Romania Klaus Iohannis is paying an official visit to Montenegro today.
President Milatović welcomed President Johanis to Cetinje with the highest state and military honors.
Milatović's Cabinet announced that the two officials would then have a conversation.
After entering the guest book and the meeting of the two delegations, the heads of state will make statements to the public.
"Immediately after the press conference, the President of Montenegro and the President of Romania will plant a tree of friendship in the courtyard of the Residence in Cetinje.
At the end of the day, President Milatović will host a festive lunch in honor of the President of Romania. The official visit of President Johanis will follow the visit of President Milatović to Romania at the beginning of March this year.
The upcoming visit of President Iohannis to Montenegro is a confirmation of the excellent and friendly relations between the two countries and represents an additional impetus to the strengthening of interstate cooperation," the Cabinet of the President of Montenegro states.
