Organized by the informal student group "Kamo śutra", a protest of Podgorica citizens is being held.

At the end of the protest walk, citizens gathered in front of the Assembly.

Addressing the participants of the protest, Milo Perović from "Kamo śutra" said: "We have swept everything under the carpet, our house is outdated, and the garbage is piling up and piling up. Our humanity, courage and empathy are also obsolete. What is happening to them? Where have the values disappeared? When I say values, I mean essential values and principles. Everything around us is falling apart and becoming obsolete, but that is exactly why we are here. We young people. We are needed by this society now more than ever. let's say enough. Get up people, if there are us, because there must be us, because this is our country, Montenegro, the country of all citizens".

The students' requests were also read in Japanese.

"Since our prime minister obviously did not understand our demands in the Montenegrin, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian languages, tonight we will repeat them in his native language - Japanese," said Itana Dragojević, from "Kamo śutra", addressing the crowd.

Previously, the column of citizens passed Independence Square and moved towards the Parliament. Some of the citizens at the back of the column are still on Ivan Crnojević Boulevard

The protest began with a thirteen-minute silence in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs building. After 13 minutes of silence, citizens and students started a protest walk across the Millennium Bridge towards the Government building.

During the protest walk, the participants chanted: “Resign!”, “Armchair people”, “Can you see us well, Danilo!”…

The participants of the protest walk stopped while crossing the Millennium Bridge and tied red ribbons to the bridge fence.

Previously, "Kamo śutra" called on citizens to bring "something red" to the protest, but also that they would provide red ribbons.

"We invite you to join the #TieSoYouCanBeSeen action on the Millennium Bridge! You can pick up red ribbons from us, and you can also bring something red from home," said Kamo śutra.

This, they say, will be our common reminder of the importance of connecting and togetherness in this fight.

"That's why tonight at the protest, during the walk to the monument to King Nikola, stop at Millennium and let's make those responsible blush!", said the students.

Kamo śutra asks: Who gave the order to treat Luka Stojaković this way?

After a student from Serbia, Luka Stojaković, publicly shared his experience with the police in Montenegro, the Police Directorate did not give clear answers to the accusations, avoiding to explain the most important issues in this case, said the informal group of students Kamo śutra.

"While the routine checks are legitimate, the very attitude of police officers towards Stojaković and the comments he received raise doubts about the true intentions behind this case. What has not been explained to the public is the exact reason why Stojaković was not allowed to take a blood test. Also, the UP's response does not include an explanation for the detention for a full 24 hours before being taken to the Misdemeanor Court. Since the beginning of the student blockades in Serbia, Luka Stojaković and his brother Lazar have been targeted by regime media and tabloids, intimidated by the BIA, and their personal data and passport photos have been published on the front pages. We received the first information about this case from regime media in Serbia, which used it to continue their campaign against students at the blockades," Kamo śutra reports.

They add that this is not the first time that information from the Police Directorate has been leaked to the media in Serbia, as the same thing happened after Medovina, the Balijagić case, the January 1 crime, and the recent leak of a farewell video of a citizen who is suspected of committing suicide.

"Due to the, to say the least, suspicious attitude of the police in this case, we demand that the public know:

Why was a blood test not performed?

Why was our colleague detained for a full 24 hours before being taken to the Misdemeanor Court?

How did this information reach the tabloids in Serbia so quickly?

And most importantly, who issued the order to treat Luka Stojaković this way?

We hope that the Police Administration will actually provide answers to the Council for Civilian Control of Police Work regarding this case, without delay and without the label "internal", Kamo śutra states.

They remind that, regarding the crime in Cetinje, the Police Administration submitted its answers to the Council after 18 days, only after public statements regarding this situation by HRA - Human Rights Action and the Center for Women's Rights, and then by the Council itself. The answers arrived a few hours after these statements, in the evening hours and with the label "internal", only for the Council to then inform the public that this response from the Police Administration did not contain any new information about crime.
