Raonic resigned from the position of general director of RTCG, the Council appointed him acting

AUTHOR: M.J.
General Director of Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) Boris Raonic has resigned from that position, Pobjeda learns.
He submitted his resignation to the members of the RTCG Council at a meeting before the session where the election of my Ombudsman is to be discussed.
The council then appointed him acting general director, until the end of the new competition.
- After the entry into force of the new Law on the National Public Broadcaster, I decided to resign from the position of General Director in accordance with Article 38 of the Law and ask the Council to confirm the resignation at the first session. I believe that this is precisely the way to put the reforms of the Public Media Service in focus and further intensify them, and the Council and management relax from the pressures that are exerted on them - Raonic stated in his resignation.
We remind you that the court ruled five times that Raonic was illegally re-elected as director of the public service.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office opened a case for the re-election of Raonic, in which suspected members of the Council of the RTCG Veselin Drljević, Filip Lazović, Naod Zorić, Predrag Miranović and Amina Murić were questioned on the suspicion that they refused to execute a final and enforceable court verdict and enabled the acquisition of illegal benefits for the elected general. to director Raonic.
That case was merged with another, which is being conducted against Raonic, as well as the legal service representative Želimir Mićović and RTCG lawyer Zorica Đukanović, due to suspicions that they abused their official position by inciting members of the Council.
