"Reconciliation" in action or the abolition of everything that resembles the national liberation struggle and anti-fascism

The news that the municipal commission for making proposals for naming streets in Nikšić wants to rename the streets "Narodni heroja" and "Partizanski put" in UBNOR and Nikšić anti-fascists was perceived as another in a series of attacks on all achievements of anti-fascism with which the libertarian Nikšić was proud of, and on which modern civic Montenegro is based, the anti-fascists and UBNOR Nikšić said.
What is the contribution of the people of Nikšić in the Second World War in the victory over fascism, they say, is best illustrated by the fact that 1,516 of them died, and that there were also 665 victims of fascist terror, that 502 received the "Partisan Memorial in 1941" and that 47 of our fellow citizens were declared national heroes.
It seems that everything that reminds us of the national liberation struggle, of its famous proletarian brigades such as the IV, V, VI Montenegrin and others, of its heroes, of the dead and innocent victims, should be belittled and erased from the memory of current and future generations. This is the task of this new "liberating" government in Nikšić, which it received from its principal and financier, whose ultimate goal is well known - the creation of a "Serbian world", they stated in the announcement.
They believe that this renaming of the streets is for this purpose, "regardless of the fact that they wanted to wrap it in a wafer by adding the famous writers Andrić and Selimović and the great Montenegrin saint Saint Peter of Cetinje in order to make it "easier" for the Serbian prince Mihailo Obrenović, a known hater of everything Montenegrin and proven Chetnik Blagoje Jovović".
It seems that this is the beginning of the renaming of the streets, Sava and Ljubo and the other heroes and all the famous Montenegrin brigades whose names adorn the streets in Nikšić will take their turn, and when they finish what they have in mind, the "reconciliation" that they strive for will come as best I can confirm. newly hired professors at Filozofsko Šijaković, Stamatović, Jovović... - they stated.
They said that they hope that the citizens of Nikšić will not allow these "liberators" to rewrite the famous liberation and anti-fascist history of Nikšić and desecrate these memorials (street names are a type of memorial) and that they will raise their voices, like all anti-fascists who Montenegro is the only homeland.
We hope that the newly elected President of Montenegro, Mr. Jakov Milatović, who is from a partisan family and who will not allow this, will be on our, anti-fascist side - they concluded in the announcement.
