SD: It's shocking that the prosecutor's office is persecuting intellectuals because of the written word

The Social Democrats of Montenegro consider the fact that the VDT in Podgorica asked the Court for Misdemeanors to initiate proceedings against FCJK professor Boban Batrićević because of the column he wrote.
The behavior of the Podgorica VDT, which insists on punishing an intellectual and professor at the university for what he said, is simply unbelievable. written words in a column in which he expressed value judgments about the behavior of the SPC in Montenegro and its bishops. It would be more logical to deal with the statements of the mentioned representatives of the religious organization - they assessed.
They say that the Podgorica prosecutor's office has fallen into a low state when it serves as a means of re-educating free-thinking citizens and as a baton for a religious organization.
The Social Democrats of Montenegro give their full support to Professor Batrićević, calling on the VDT to abandon this senseless process, the only effect of which is the collapse of the institution's reputation - the SD concluded.
