Spajić: I expect the support of 44 deputies, we cannot believe in the sincerity of ZBCG, Bečić will be the president of the Assembly

At tonight's session, the main board of the Movement Europe Now gave its support to Mandator Milojko Spajić to form the 44th Government of Montenegro with the support of the Democrats of Montenegro Alekse Bečić, the parties of minority peoples and the SNP of Vladan Joković, but without the representatives of Nova and DNP. the party of the former Democratic Front.
The leader of the Europe Now Movement and the mandate holder, Milojko Spajić, told reporters after the session, which lasted for six hours, that the key conclusion from the main board of PES was that they had a parliamentary majority to form a government.
The majority that supported me and the Europe Now Movement for the mandate. We are going with that majority to create the Government and fulfill all those programs that we talked about in the election campaign - Spajić said.
According to him, they had a "very nice civilized discussion" at the session.
We decided by a convincing majority to go in this direction. A few people were against and a few abstained - said Spajić.
Spajić expects the support of 44 deputies in the Assembly. Speaking to a journalist's question, he said that he expects the support of representatives of Civis, Alternative, and United Montenegro, who were on the list of PES.
According to him, the definitive position is that the coalition for the future of Montenegro will not be part of the new government.
They rejected our offers five times. Later, when they agreed, we no longer believe in the sincerity of their intentions. We think they are just falsely accepting the offer to obstruct the process. They accepted the offer the moment we had the majority and it's an absolutely simple thing, I think we can't trust them in the further process and that's why we shouldn't go into a coalition with them - said Spajić.
He announced that the next step is a conversation with the leaders of other parties, where, as he says, the further process will be agreed upon.
At the session, we did not talk about portfolios, we talked about the parliamentary majority and the future president of the Assembly, Aleksi Bečić, said Spajić.
An initiative to convene a session of the Parliament of Montenegro for the election of the Speaker of the Parliament is expected soon.
