Student group "Kamo śutra" announced a new protest for tonight.

The protest is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs building, followed by a protest walk to the Parliament of Montenegro.

Recall that at the previous protest held on January 16, student representatives presented the following demands:

"First demand - resignation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense.

Second demand - more prompt and proactive action by the competent institutions on the issue of weapons possession.

Third demand - reform of the system of functioning of police structures.

Fourth demand - Return of civic education as a mandatory subject in all primary and secondary schools.

Fifth demand - Our new demand. Improving the institutional approach to mental health care. And now we will give an explanation.

We demand the formation of a special commission consisting of renowned psychologists and psychiatrists whose task will be to compile a psychological manual for crisis situations. We also demand urgent consideration of opening new job positions for psychologists in all Montenegrin institutions as well as urgent consideration of opening a psychological counseling center in the north, which will also contribute to the centralization of Montenegro.

We demand that the Public Service Broadcasting, through weekly shows dedicated exclusively to mental health care, promote it and thereby contribute to the destigmatization of psychological examinations. It is also necessary to regularly advertise SOS contacts of the competent institutions where one can request psychological help or schedule an examination," the students stated.

After the protest in front of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the presentation of the demands, a protest walk followed to the Government building, where a 13-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the victims of the crime in Cetinje committed on January 1.

Representative of "Kamo Śutra?" Milo Perović said that the students will not give up the protest until their demands regarding the tragedy in Cetinje are met.

He said that the "Kamo Śutra?" group is uncompromising in its demands.

"As for the protest, I can say that it will not be the last, because we will not give up until our demands are met," Perović emphasized.
