The appointment date specified for the sake of a small party interest

The President of the Montenegrin Assembly Danijela Djurovic has announced the presidential election in the term that prevents them from maintaining Zendo with an extraordinary parliamentary elections, said the Vice President of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Bojan Zekovic.

Djurovic scheduled the presidential election for March 19th.

"In doing so, she demonstrated an approach that is not good, beyond the usual practices and consultations, for the sake of the small party interest of the SNP to stay in functions for a month or two longer," Zekovic said in the "Link" show on the radio of Montenegro.

Duplication of electoral processes, he said, would cost citizens a few million euros. He also said that we would constantly stick to election activities.

"Even further, the problem we are entering is that such a term of choice makes it difficult to agree on the election of the Constitutional Court judge. With the abbreviation of mandates and begging the election, it would be resentful for all participants to choose the missing judge of the Constitutional Court. In the end, all have a party interest in that election They are legitimately chosen, "Zekovic said.

He reiterated the view of the SDP that for the appetizer elections, an optimal option is an superparent candidate who can bring together civic and European oriented political entities, associations, as well as other organizations.
