The approach of the Western allies is much more dangerous for BiH and Montenegro than for Kosovo

The situation in Kosovo will calm down, because the attention of the public in Serbia, the world and those in the region has been successfully diverted from the mass protests against the government in Belgrade, said the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Vesna Pusić in the show "Hey Slavs" on Gradska RTV.
No one talks about it anymore, even though the demonstrations are on a large scale. Attention was also drawn to the failed attempt of counter-demonstrations, which did not go well, which Vučić tried to organize. Nobody is talking about these topics, which were talked about by everyone, including the international media. Everyone is talking about the conflict in Kosovo - Pusić said.
She does not believe that the conflicts in Kosovo will turn into something bigger, but adds that they can remain as a permanent connection of potential destabilization.
As much as the current situation in Kosovo is tense and in focus, Pusić believes that it is less dangerous when compared to the situations in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and Montenegro.
Kosovo is the most homogeneous, it has an uncorrupt government, institutions... Yes, there is a problem in the north of Kosovo, but it will have to be stabilized in some way, or not, so there will be one permanent problem, but the rest of the country is functioning - explains Pusić.
The approach of Western allies is much more dangerous for BiH and Montenegro, she added.
In Montenegro, the elections showed that the society is divided in the middle, in half, and that a part of the opposition, and now the government, or at least those who support the government, de facto thinks that Montenegro should not exist as an independent state - stressed Pusić .
Russia, which has almost the only explicit allies in the Western Balkans (WB), is present as an external player in Montenegro, explains Pusić and adds that Russia has no territorial aspirations, but thinks that by destabilizing the WB it can destabilize the European Union.
Those allies who would like to stabilize have chosen as partners those who de facto destabilize the entire region, and this is a difficulty in which you always find yourself politically if you cannot help yourself, that's why I think that relying on one's own forces is the first step, and the homogenization of one's own forces is extremely important - concluded Pusić.
