The minister is lying - the MFA officially responded to Sarajevo on the protest note, which he claims was not officially communicated

Minister of Foreign Affairs Filip Ivanović misled the public yesterday when he said during the Prime Minister's Hour session that "there was no official statement from the Ministry or the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the fact that, during Milorad Dodik's visit, the national flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was not displayed , but only entity.
There was no official announcement from the Ministry or the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina on that matter, and there was none from our side either. Whether it was sent or not, I would ask you to ask that question to Sarajevo because it is not in the receiving country, to say whether it was sent or not - Ivanovic said yesterday when asked about the protest note sent by Sarajevo due to Dodik's visit.
However, the document that Pobjeda had access to shows that Ivanovic's department just responded to the note, which Ivanovic claims was not sent officially, but that he heard about it from the media.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro expresses its respect to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia Herzegovina has the honor that in connection with Note no. 7297/24 of February 28, 2024, informs that the Government, i.e. the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro did not participate in the organization and accompanying protocol activities related to the visit of the President of the entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik, but that it was realized exclusively by the competent services of the Parliament of Montenegro - replied the MFA to the note from Sarajevo.
Further, the MFA explains that the Parliament of Montenegro, through an official channel, "was informed of an omission when, in addition to the entity flag, the state flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina was not displayed."
The Ministry reiterates that the Government of Montenegro fully supports the completeness, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as its state symbols, flag and historical continuity. The Ministry expresses the expectation that the mentioned event will not affect friendly and good-neighborly relations between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina - said in the reply of the MFA Sarajevo.
We remind you that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina sent a note of protest to the Government of Montenegro, after the meeting of the President of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska Milorad Dodikas with the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Andrija Mandić.
