The parties of less numerous peoples demand a guaranteed western course of the government

In separate meetings with representatives of the Socialist People's Party, the Albanian Alternative, the Albanian Alliance and the Croatian Civic Initiative, the leader of the "Europe Now" Movement, Milojko Spajić, continued negotiations on the formation of a new Montenegrin executive yesterday.
Official negotiations began on Thursday with meetings with the Coalition "For the Future of Montenegro" and the Democrats, where they discussed only the principles on which the future government would rest, which Spajić had previously submitted to potential partners.
The principles offered by Spajić were also yesterday, judging by the statements of the meeting participants, the focus of the negotiations.
SNP leader Vladimir Joković told reporters that at the meeting they reached a "high degree of agreement" regarding the principles and priorities of the future government, but he also emphasized that they received assurances from Spajić that he sees the SNP as part of the executive power.
We will continue these conversations. We did not discuss personnel solutions and division of departments. We will discuss with our coalition partners in what way
SNP to be part of that government and which portfolios will we take over and contribute to. We haven't discussed that yet - announced Joković.
WIDTH
He also pointed out that the future government should be as broad as possible "in order to have complete stability and last a full mandate".
We don't want to talk about speculation. If this government is good and does everything the citizens want from it, it doesn't matter at all if we have one or more seats in that government - said Joković.
Spajić was previously met by representatives of the Albanian Alternative, who presented him with the program principles that that party presented to the citizens in the campaign of the last election.
This is what the leader of the Albanian Alternative, Nik Đeljošaj, told the journalists.
Those principles are the basis. We offered to our colleagues from PES to agree on those principles. The basis of everything is for the government to be stable and long-term - said Đeljošaj.
Đeljošaj also confirmed that there is communication between the minority parties.
The foreign policy orientation of the government is important for us. We will further discuss with Spajić about our request to close casinos and betting shops. We have clear positions and we have clearly presented them to all our potential partners - concluded Đeljošaj after the meeting.
SUPPLEMENT
According to Genci Nimanbegu, the representative of the Albanian Alliance, representatives of the Albanian Alliance proposed to Spajić an amendment to the principles previously agreed upon by PES and submitted to potential partners.
The meeting took place in a very good atmosphere. We talked about the principles and that we will supplement them. From the new government, we expect increased investment in areas where minorities live, as well as further democratization of society. Affirmative actions should be changed in areas where Albanians are the majority, and that will be one of the things we will look for as part of supplementing the principles. Perennial insufficient commitment of the state to development projects would be key principles for supplementation. It is time to seriously understand that the aspirations of minority parties are not armchairs but principles - he told Nimanbeg.
Spajić held the last in a series of meetings yesterday with representatives of the Croatian Civic Initiative, who also proposed to him the addition of the offered principles.
Those principles, as explained by HGI leader Adrijan Vuksanović, imply greater interaction of minority peoples on the social and political scene, as well as the pro-Western direction of the future government.
We see the prosperity of Montenegro where its statehood began, which is in the West. It is good that we have a platform from which we will move on - said Vuksanović after the conversation with Spajić.
The requests of the Albanian parties and the HGI to supplement the principles are linked to the beginning of negotiations with the Coalition "For the Future of Montenegro", but also to the current absence of the Bosniak Party from the negotiation process, to which Spajić made a humiliating offer. "We asked Spajić for guarantees for the government's pro-Western course," said a Pobjeda source
Vuksanović also reminded of the earlier position of the HGI that this party will not come into power at any cost.
Today we talked about values and principles and did not deal with mathematics. The negotiations took place in a good spirit. We are satisfied with the content of today's talks and we believe that the negotiation process should continue - emphasized Vuksanović with the message that they are aware of their responsibility and that they are moving forward with that awareness.
We understand the circumstances of this moment, which are aggravating for all of us - concluded Vuksanović.
Knežević: They didn't offer us anything
Certain portals announced yesterday that the leader of the "Europe Now" Movement, Milojko Spajić, offered the portfolios of education, agriculture, transport and diaspora to the "For the Future of Montenegro" Coalition during negotiations on Thursday, which he had previously offered to the Bosniak Party, but one of the leaders of that coalition, Milan Knežević, categorically denied these allegations.
He told Pobjeda yesterday that during the conversation with Spajić on Thursday, there was no mention of the distribution of portfolios.
