The road that Montenegro moves in the abyss

Boris Muratović, a member of the DPS Executive Board, indicated that according to the preliminary data of Monstat, the industry production in January 2023, compared to the same month of the previous year, recorded a decrease of 1.6%.

This decline in production is, as Muratović pointed out, especially recorded in the processing industry sectors - from 38.3% and the extraction of ores and stone - from 21.2%.

Thus in the manufacturing industry, in the same period, six areas recorded a decline in production. The largest decline was recorded in the field of basic metal production - from 77.0% and production of machinery and equipment - 57.1%, while the smallest was recorded in the field of furniture production - 8.0%. Also, in January 2023, industrial production recorded a decrease of 30.6% compared to the previous month. The production decline was recorded in all sectors: 56.6%, extraction industry of 56.6% and stone from 22.6% and electricity supply, gas and steam from 8.0% - standing in the Muratović statement.

According to Muratović, in addition to the evident decline in industrial production, there was significantly reducing the inflows of foreign direct investment.

According to preliminary data in January 2023, the net inflow of foreign direct investments amounted to 11.54 million euros, which is 77.09% less than in January 2022. The total inflow of foreign direct investments amounted to EUR 43.79 million (a decrease of 38.09%), which is the result of the decline in investment, as well as the fall of investment on the basis of intercompanic debt - he warned him.

As Muratović cited, everything stated indicates that the path that Montenegro moves, leads into the abyss.

It is certain that our country needs the host of the house, in the form of responsible and dedicated governments that would go to the rehabilitation of the damage caused by Abazovic's and Krivokapićeva, - concluded Muratović.
