The workers of the "Dr. Simo Milošević" Institute continued their protests today and moved them to the highway in Igalo.
With a mass walk across the pedestrian crossing, they stopped traffic for half an hour, which caused long lines to form. They announce further radicalization if privatization is restarted, reports RTCG.
The demands of the employees are: Payment of two arrears of wages, an increase in service prices, and the signing of a collective agreement.
You know that the prices according to the fund were last changed in 2009. When we asked to increase the prices by 50%, we received the answer that no more than 17% can be done. If we know that Monstat has estimated the inflation for 2023 at 16.8 percent, then it is clear to you how much profit we will have - said Dr. Marija Obradovic, president of the Institute's employee union.
