"There is us": We want to join the EU, not the Open Balkans and the "Serbian world"

The third protest of the "Ima nas" movement was held tonight on the plateau in front of the Parliament of Montenegro. It was said from the meeting that Montenegro has no alternative, but must be a part of the family of European nations and preserve its civil character and multi-ethnic and multi-religious harmony. It was announced at the meeting that Montenegro will not be part of the Open Balkans.
Radan activist Predrag Vušurović said that the citizens of Montenegro are demanding that the overthrow of the constitutional order be prevented, that the Law on the President be withdrawn and that an agreement be reached on the Constitutional Court.
"In order to ensure the conditions for extraordinary elections. In order for Montenegro to get a responsible Government that will work for the interests of the citizens. "Montenegro, you're gathering strength and people, and you're only going to make it," said Vušurović.
Vušurović stated that their petition for the withdrawal of the Law on the President has been signed by around 35,000 people so far.
"Never the Montenegro that Vučić dreams of. Montenegro has stood up", said Vušurović and added that they want a stable Montenegro, not "Dritan's spectacle".
"Someone tell Dritan Abazović - the show is over," said civic activist Predrag Vušurović.
SDP MP Draginja Vuksanović Stanković said that Montenegro has never been and will never be commanded from Belgrade.
"There are those of us who say a big NO - to the anti-Montenegrin, primitive traitorous and Great Serbian politics. Betrayal", said Vuksanović Stanković at the gathering.
"We are here to tell Vučić and his servants in Montenegro that they will not go through with the intention of conquering Montenegro. The Milosevics did not pass in the 90s, so neither will the Vučićs in a free and NATO-run Montenegro," she stated.
She said that Montenegro has never been subjugated, and it won't be now either. "No one will break Montenegro," stated Vuksanović Stanković.
She also said that there will be no Open Balkans, no "Serbian world".

"Dritan Abazović, we are sending you a message from Aleksandar Vučić that you can only trumpet about the Open Balkans in Belgrade, Vučić and Vulin to us - no... Hands off Montenegro and not only are we there, but we are here to defend bravely and dignified to defend every inch of Montenegro. Why are you afraid of the election, Dritan, Democratic Front?" asked Vuksanović Stanković.
Member of the Presidency of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nermin Abdić said that they gathered to defend every inch of the only homeland.
"All of us here must say that Montenegrins do not kiss chains. Montenegro has no alternative, it must take a safe step into the families of European nations. "Montenegro must preserve its civil character and multi-ethnic and multi-religious harmony," said Abdić.
He pointed out that citizens gathered in front of the Assembly because of their love for the state, saying that there will be even more of them.
"We cannot allow our patients to be treated without medicines, nor our children to study in schools without heating. We will not allow or forgive them," stressed Abdić.
He said that he will never allow Montenegro to be an asylum seeker in Montenegro.
"Montenegro is not and will never be for sale. There are more of us and there will be even more of us," said Abdić.
Actor Zoran Vujović addressed the crowd with the verses of "Oath", which is based on, as he said, anti-fascist virtues, values and legacy.
Student Ilija Vujacic asked if they had waited long enough and if they agreed to be second-class citizens.
"Raise the flags so they can see what civil Montenegro looks like and what their nightmare looks like. From today we are wondering. We were sleeping but we woke up. We are the change and we will bring about the changes", said Vujacic.
Pobjede journalist Kaćuša Krsmanović said that those gathered have been standing on the sidelines of civil Montenegro for two years.
"We are there to defend the Constitution, the collapsed reputation of Montenegro, the collapsed institutions of Montenegro and to raise our voice in defense of civil Montenegro... I am here to tell Dritan Abazović and those who gave him the task of returning Montenegro under the Serbian boot and Russian influence - he won't be able to," said Krsmanović.
She told Abazović that, as she stated, the "lists of ineligibles" are for nothing.
"Your threats are useless, your media service is useless. The nine of us - Predrag Vušurović, Nebojša Mrvaljević, Tanja Knežević-Perišić, Draško Didi Martinović, Aleksandar Saša Zeković, Maja Miličković, Tijana Lopičić, Tanja Pavićević and I - whom you have now targeted in order to discredit us - and the others for whom you are preparing lists for the media and political shooting - we say: we were not afraid", said Krsmanović.
Vido Drašković said that it is high time for them to wake up.
"Good morning, awakened Montenegro", said Drašković and added that there are enough of them to defend the constitutional order of Montenegro.
"The open Balkans is nothing but the Serbian world," said Drašković.
After the meeting, a protest walk was held along St. Peter Cetinjski Boulevard, from the plateau in front of the Assembly to the monument to St. Peter Cetinjski.
Banners with inscriptions - "We are there, for Montenegro, for the EU", "We will not give you Montenegro" were displayed at the rally...
