Dejan Kokotović, one of four seriously injured in the Cetinje massacre, died at the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
"With regret, we inform you that patient K.D (1985), admitted to the Clinical Center of Montenegro due to injuries sustained in the tragic event in the Royal Capital of Cetinje, has died.
The patient underwent demanding surgical procedures due to severe injuries. 48 hours ago, the patient showed signs of mild recovery, but after that his general condition deteriorated and complications led to an undesirable outcome," the KCCG statement states.
On January 1, Aco Martinović killed twelve close relatives, godfathers and friends in five locations in Cetinje, including two children, and seriously injured four people.
A few hours later, according to police reports, he committed suicide.
According to the latest information from the Clinical Center, the other three patients from Cetinje are recovering.
