To Michael Đukanović: We need each other, I believe that the future of Montenegro is in the EU

The President of the European Council, Charle Michael, sent a letter to the President of Montenegro, Milo Đukanović, after his congratulations on the occasion of Europe Day, in which he thanked him for excellent cooperation and Montenegro's strong pro-European orientation.
This day belongs to all of us, citizens of the European Union, current and future member states. He inspires and motivates us to build the best possible Europe, for us and our children - said Mišel in his address to Đukanović.
He pointed out that he firmly believes that the future of Montenegro and the entire Western Balkans is in the EU.
We need each other, and only together can we face the many challenges of today. As your mandate comes to an end, allow me to express my gratitude for the excellent cooperation over the years and for the strong pro-European orientation of Montenegro, including full alignment with the EU's common foreign and security policy.
