I expect the DPS candidate for president to win in the first round, and I expect him to win in the second round with the support of other parties, I think that would be very significant, not only for our party and the bloc it represents, but also for Montenegro as a whole , said the mayor of Podgorica and vice president of DPS Ivan Vuković.
He said that they will be able to announce the name of the candidate by Thursday, and as he states, the current president Milo Đukanović is most often mentioned.
It's true that I mentioned myself, I'm not the only one. There are several names, let's say that the choice was reduced to three, four names. We will make a decision in relation to who has the best chance of success - said Vuković.
As he says, they are aware that the situation in the country is not good.
The presidential elections are a real opportunity to send a message about how the government worked in the previous period. The presidential elections and victory in them would be a jump-start for the parliamentary elections, which represent a key moment for the political future of Montenegro.
