Vuković: The name of the candidate in the next three days

In the next three days, we will come out with our candidate for the presidential elections, announced the vice-president of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Ivan Vuković.
DPS has not yet chosen/announced the name of a candidate for the presidential elections because, according to Vuković, they gave a chance to what was expected by part of the public, which is that the potential candidate would be a non-party personality.
"We did a survey of public opinion, the results showed that the candidates who are most often mentioned as non-partisan, among others Milica Pejanović, do not have the mobilization potential at the moment that would guarantee us success," Vuković said in a guest appearance on Drugačija radio connection on Antena M.
In order to achieve mobilization in the first round, it is better to offer more candidates, Vuković believes.
"The fact that we will have two or more candidates can have a greater degree of mobilization of that electorate," he emphasizes.
He points out that in the local elections in Podgorica, the result of the coalition around DPS was not at the expected level, although, he says, it was good.
"Parties work more on the ground when they work for their own political interests," he added.
He believes that the DPS candidate will enter the second round and win.
