Vukovic on B40 - Balkan Cities Network Summit in Attina

Podgorica Mayor Ivan Vukovic, participates in the B40 - Balkan Cities Network Summit held in Athens, at the invitation of the mayor of Kostas Bakojanis (Kostas Bakoyannis).

The initiative launched in 2021 by the Mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu today gathers more than 70 cities in the region, including Podgorica.

This platform makes a significant contribution to the construction of better relations between the cities of the region.

During his presentation on the mayor's panel, Vukovic recalled the challenges that cities face today, and pointed out the importance of such initiatives for them. He also recalled the numerous results of the capital in the area of the city of giving up the city and the protection of the environment, which is one of the topics of this summit. - states in a statement from the capital.

Podgorica Mayor in Atina had bilateral meetings with the mayors of Istanbul, Atin and Sofia.

Thanks to intensive international cooperation, Podgorica is today part of important initiatives, which makes a significant contribution to creating assumptions for continuing its development, but also to promote the potential of our capital in the region and beyond.
