Exactly at 5:26 p.m., a 13-minute silence began at the Lovćenska Vila monument in Cetinje. The silence is both a tribute to the innocent victims of the crazed murderer, and a warning to the authorities.
After the 13-minute silence, Bojana Ivanović addressed the audience.
- We will not and cannot forget Marko, Mašan, Jovan and Vukan. We cannot forget the 23 tragically lost lives – she said on behalf of the informal group of students "Kamo śutra" which called for yesterday's gathering.
Several hundred citizens responded to the students' call last night to pay tribute to those killed in the massacre committed by Aco Martinović on January 1st of this year.
He killed 12 people that day - Mirko Vuletić and his nephews Jovan (13) and Vukan (9), Dragana Drašković, Branislav Mudreša, Radivoje Marković, Još Otašević, Zorica Vuletić, Radovan and Radmila Martinović and their sons Miloš and Marko. He also seriously wounded four people, of whom Dejan Kokotović lost his fight for life after nine days.
There are still no answers from the authorities about the Cetinje massacre, and the organization "Kamo śutra" has so far organized three protests demanding accountability from those responsible for security.
In addition to the dismissal of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Deputy Prime Minister for Security, they are also demanding strict gun control, better conditions for police work and their communication with citizens in order to restore trust, civic education as a mandatory subject in all schools, and more serious care for mental health. Prime Minister Milojko Spajić was given a deadline of February 1 to organize a press conference at which he would provide answers to the public about what had been done regarding the crime in Cetinje, and to state their demands.
The informal group "Where to Tomorrow" submitted a document to the Government of Montenegro in which they repeated their demands and called on Prime Minister Spajić to organize a press conference by February 1 and publicly present all actions, measures, activities that have been taken since the day of the crime, as well as the reasons for the fulfillment or non-fulfillment of the demands they raised at the three protests.
Just as they gathered in peace and silence, the citizens, after paying their respects, peacefully and with tears left the plateau at the Lovćenska Vila monument.
