The spokesperson of the Social Democrats (SD) Nikola Zirojević congratulated Bishop Boris of Ostroško-Nikšić on his election as Metropolitan of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church (CPC).
I am convinced that the Montenegrin believers made the best move and that the new Metropolitan Boris will lead the church on the path of progress! I believe that a new time is coming for the Montenegrin Orthodox Church and its believers who, I sincerely hope, will receive the status they deserve and belong to in the coming period - Zirojević said on Twitter.
We remind you that the General Assembly of Montenegro declared today His Eminence Bishop Boris of Ostroška-Niššić as Metropolitan of the CPC.
