Đuričković: It is wise to form a government that will have the support of Western partners

The intention of the PES leadership to form a government with the DF, if they succeed, would be a guarantee that Montenegro will continue further stagnation in the process of European integration, but also an almost certain setback in that process, assessed the international secretary of the Social Democrats of Montenegro (SD). , Miloš Đuričković.

So much for the fact that their priority is the acceleration of integration and membership in the EU. To be clear, this is not only the position of their political opponents, who rightly bear the epithet of the only European forces in Montenegro, but also the position of Brussels and Washington, which has been repeated many times. The fact that the PES leadership has the stomach to form local authorities in Berane, Pljevlje, Zeta, etc., with proven deniers of the state of Montenegro, the genocide in Srebrenica, its flag and anthem, the civic concept, opponents of the EU and NATO, supporters of Russian aggression does not it means that someone in Brussels or Washington is interested in cooperation with the Government, which would have such subjects in its composition - added Đuričković.

According to him, bearing in mind the difficult economic and security challenge facing Montenegro, which will be significantly more complicated in the next four-year period, it is wise to form a Government that will be guaranteed full cooperation and support from Western partners.

Recklessly wasting time on failed solutions and missing the chance to finally become part of Western civilization and the European Union. This is how one could describe the previous three years of the rule of various political structures, embodied in the DF and the URA movement, as well as their supreme leaders - said Đuričković.

Đuričković pointed out that the leadership of PES, if they care at all, should finally hear the position of Brussels and Washington, which is clear: "The government in whose composition ZBCG personnel would enter will not have their support".

It is equally important that minority parties and pro-European parties repeat the same message, if not more strongly. If PES is planning a government with ZBCG or the URA movement, we are of the opinion that it should not receive a single vote of support from pro-European and minority parties - concluded Đuričković.
