Even tonight, the police are guarding the national flag that was placed on the new flagpole in Štitarica.
Let us remind you that the metal mast, ten meters long, on which the Montenegrin national flag was flying, and which some of the locals had placed in front of the local church and cemetery during the previous night, was cut down and stolen.
Yesterday, a new mast was brought, and in order to be sure that the vandalism will not happen again, the locals decided to guard it, and the help of the police arrived.
The flagpole with the national flag was erected by the revolted citizens of Štitarić after the Church of Serbia caused divisions in the village when it recently erected a flagpole with the Serbian tricolor in front of the local church.
