Živković: Montenegro is living in a time of statelessness, it is a consequence of inadequate reactions of the institutions

We filed more than 70 criminal charges and to this day we do not have an answer to any of those charges - Danijel Živković, acting president of the Democratic Party of Socialists, said at a press conference.
He assessed that Montenegro is living in a time of statelessness.
The government functions as if it is in full mandate. The president of the municipality manages the municipality from custody. Public officials do not look down on the state. Institutions in that powerlessness absolutely do not react. The lack of power is the result of inadequate reactions of the institutions - emphasizes Živković.
He states that they filed a complaint against Zdravko Krivokapić and to this day have not received an answer, as well as against Filip Adžić for abuse of official position, against Vesna Bratić for dismissals, against Jakov Milatović, Danica Crnogorčević, against the organizers of the festival in Herceg Novi for desecrating the national anthem, against Marko Kovačević for desecrating state symbols.
We have a situation where the election process in Šavnik is not over yet. In Andrijevica, several people with criminal records broke into the Assembly session and prevented it from taking place. We will ask for police intervention on the day of the next session of the Andrijevica Municipality Assembly - said Živković.
It seems to him, as he said, that the public is not sufficiently aware of these events.
All this is a consequence of the irresponsible and careless attitude of state authorities. These are dangerous precedents that are collapsing institutions and state authority. Today, Montenegro has absolutely no authority. This is a question of Montenegro and its interests and the interests of its citizens. If this continues like this, it is undermining the sovereignty of the state - believes Živković.
They expect an adequate reaction to their reports from the prosecutor's office.
We have been waiting for their answer for two years. These are dozens of reports against different persons. It is the duty of the prosecution to give us those answers. This state of anarchy and lawlessness must be stopped - said Živković.
Answering the question when the congress of the DPS will be held and whether he will run for president, he said that once they have sorted out the data, he will proceed with the election of the leadership of that party.
I am not thinking about my candidacy at all now. Whether I will run for office or not is not the focus of my attention now - said Živković.
When asked how he comments on the fact that political opponents also comment that the lawsuits against the DPS are kept in the prosecutor's office, he replied that their competition "brags loudly that it has changed the prosecutor's office and that the prosecutors are up to their standards".
If the prosecutor's office initiates proceedings against the current government, then they say that they are biased and persecute Serbs. We have never put pressure on any judicial institution. If a report is filed against someone from our ranks, that person is immediately convicted. Have we ever accused someone prematurely. On the other hand, we expect them to respect the presumption of innocence - said Živković.
Commenting on the fact that President Jakov Milatović announced yesterday that he will discuss the "Simo Milošević" Institute with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, he said that he does not know on the basis of which powers the President can resolve the issue of the institute.
It is exclusively within the competence of the Government and the Government is obliged to resolve it. As for Milatović, let him stick to his constitutional powers and not take over what belongs to him. Vučić's statements are becoming more frequent as we get closer to the formation of the government. The narrative about the threat to the rights of Serbs is not correct and Vučić is doing it at the expense of the former Democratic Front. DF is already the government. They manage various institutions. With such statements, Vučić is putting pressure on the representative to bring the ZBCG coalition into power - Živković concluded.
