MUWN- When did you start playing music?
IG-First of all, a warm greeting for you and the portal you run.
It is exactly fifteen years since I first stepped professionally into the world of music.
MUWN-Where did you have your first performance and how do you remember it?
IG-I had my first performance in Skopje, where my first musical story started.
I am guided by the fact that there are no coincidences in life and that everything happens at the right time and moment when you are really ready for certain circumstances, life paths and challenges.
I must admit that I was particularly happy and fulfilled that day and I always remember it fondly.
Beginnings always entail certain challenges and own expectations, but as my musical story went on, I also built my image expression and place on the stage over the years.
MUWN-You have worked with many musicians, what is the collaboration with them like, especially those who have proven themselves in their work?
IG-Each new musical manuscript is an inspiration in itself.
I always look forward to good people and the inspiration that results in different kinds of musical collaborations.
Collegiality is an important link in this business and a way to help if you are able and exchange new ideas, experiences and moments somewhere.
So far, there have been many beautiful and successful projects and forms of cooperation with colleagues both in the country and abroad. All of them are really, first of all, good people and great professionals.
MUWN- Being a musician requires a lot of travel. Which ones are particularly memorable to you?
IG-Yes, there are frequent trips and somewhere they are part of the job. Every new journey is a challenge in itself, because you meet new people, establish new forms of cooperation, share yourself with the audience and somewhere you get a wind at your back, because after every performance the audience is the one who inspires you with their presence and good energy to create and work even better .
In addition to Europe, I would also highlight performances in America.
MUWN-Have you recorded a duet song with any of your colleagues so far, are you planning to in the future and with whom would you like to?
IG-Until now I haven't done duet compositions, maybe if some interesting composition happens why not. There would be more names with whom I would collaborate, but later.
MUWN- How often do you perform, how important is this type of work for musicians, surely you have numerous anecdotes from those performances?
IG-I have reduced my appearances quite a bit due to the fact that I am present on several fronts, i.e. in addition to music, I have other professional engagements in which I am present.
I try to dedicate as much time as possible to performances.
There are usually private parties on Wednesdays. There would certainly be a lot of anecdotes, every performance somewhere paints the atmosphere with its colors, I bring special anecdotes from the festival.
MUWN- What are your plans for the next period?
IG-There are always plans.
Considering that I have recorded new compositions and prepared a new artistic cycle of artistic works, I plan to release a new single this year and hold a new solo exhibition.
I have a lot of offers for work outside of Montenegro, which would be a great way to round off this year.
