MUWN- When did you start playing music?
S.V-I started playing music when I was 10 years old, my uncle bought me my first harmonica.
MUWN- Where did you have your first performance and how do you remember it?
S.V, - I had my first performance in the place where I was born to the Mrkojevic family, between Bar and Ulcinj. I was very young, but everything went well, thank God.
MUWN- You have worked with many musicians, what is the collaboration with them like, especially those who have proven themselves in their work?
S.V. - In music, as in any job, you meet both good and bad people. I didn't have any problems with anyone in particular, but I fondly remember the good people and musicians I worked with.
MUWN- Being a musician requires a lot of travel. Which ones are particularly memorable to you?
S.V. - I have traveled a lot, and my favorite is the trip I had in Faraway Australia, more precisely in Sydney, it left a lasting impression on me as one of the far away and best trips I have ever had.
MUWN- Have you recorded a duet song with any of your colleagues so far, are you planning to in the future and with whom would you like to?
S.V. - I recorded a couple of songs with my dear colleagues, and in particular I can single out a duet song with my cousin and namesake Sabra Vulić, and the song is called
Where are you, Rođo?
MUWN- How often do you perform, how important is this type of work for musicians, surely you have numerous anecdotes from those performances?
S.V. - Every trip is a story in itself, there is a lot that could be told.
MUWN- What are your plans for the next period?
S.V. - Well, I don't have any special plans, I just know that I will record some songs as long as I can, because it's something I love and have been doing since I was little.
MUWN- You also performed with Irena Jahović, our pop artist who lives and works in the USA, what was the experience of working with her like?
S.V.- Irena is a friend and singer. I performed a couple of times with her and I can only say that Irena is a special vocalist, and she is also special as a person. I would like to say my best wishes to her and wish her all the luck in her career, of course also on a personal level.
I want to say hello to all dear people, friends, fans and all those who know me, listen and support my career, which, thank God, has lasted for over 40 years.
