A group of young men beat up several people in the center of Belgrade and the attackers are said to be Red Star fans.
Those who were beaten up are believed to be German fans who came to watch the Red Star vs. Stuttgart match.
Red Star will play the fifth round of the Champions League at home starting at 6:45 p.m., and the ugly scenes in downtown Belgrade were a prelude to that match.
People who gathered at Zeleni Venac could see a group of young men hitting and kicking several of them, although it is estimated that there were several dozen Stuttgart supporters.
It sounds incredible that there were no police anywhere nearby, just a few hours before the match at Marakana.
Immediately after the incident, footage began to emerge, and one of them shows a young man who cannot get up from the street even though he tries, while a group of fans return and continue to hit him.
There was also a fight at the GSP bus stop in Zeleni Venac, where fans kicked one of the Stuttgart supporters, as Sportal previously reported.
