Croatian handball players after a great turnaround and a goal in the last second defeated Hungary in Zagreb 31:30 to enter the semifinals of the World Championship!
Croatia has qualified for the seventh time among the four best national teams in the world. For a place in the final, they will play against the winner of the duel between France and Egypt, which will be played tonight at 9 pm.
Hungary had +4 in the 54th minute, and was one step away from the semifinals. However, goalkeeper Pešić started to work miracles and brought the Croats back to minus one, which was the last chance two minutes before the end.

The other two pairs of the quarterfinals will be played tomorrow, Denmark - Brazil and Portugal - Germany.
