The newly elected American president Donald Trump said that he planned to talk about the efforts to end the war in Ukraine with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Speaking of the press conference on his property of Mar-Lake in Florida, the Trump suggested that such a meeting could be held after his inauguration on the 20th. January.
When asked by journalists about the time of the possible meeting, he refrained from specifying a specific date, but he said, "I know Putin would like to meet."
Tramp also expressed hope that the war would end up within six months. "I hope so much six months ago," he added.
During his campaign, Trump often bragged his relationship with Putin and claim that the war in Ukraine could end "within 24 hours", but never explained the details of that claim.
