Students of the University of Novi Sad blocked the bridge for 29 minutes from 11:52 to pay tribute to those who died when the canopy collapsed on November 1, as well as those who died in Arilje on December 31 and in Cetinje on January 1.
The students unfurled a large red fist banner on the Petrovaradin Fortress.
In Novi Sad, a man in a BMW tried to break through the blockade.
Journalist Žarko Bogosavljević reported that an incident occurred on the eve of the action, at 11:45 a.m., when a black BMW tried to drive through a crowd of students. Citizens and students chased it, and then the police arrived. The driver fled down the street.
This Friday, a 15-minute silence was held in front of the RTV building.
Students from Svetina Gymnasium and the School of Economics gathered at Trg Slobode in Novi Sad.
Representatives of the SSP blocked Takovska Street in Belgrade near the RTS.
