Ana Brnabić tried to defend Vučić on X, but received a harsh message from the algorithm

Aleksandar Vučić returned from America unplanned and early because, as reported, he had health problems. While he is recovering, speculation is spreading because many doubt the real motives for going to Florida. Many also doubt that Trump even planned to meet with Vučić, as domestic pro-regime media announced, but also that the sudden health problem is also an excuse for Vučić not to go to Moscow for Victory Day on May 9.

In all this, Ana Brnabić also spoke out, wanting to defend Vučić.

She stated the following on X:

“This is how unplanned the meeting between President Vučić and President Trump was. How pathetic you must be to lie like Ponoš about things like this. And this shows how seriously the president’s health has been damaged and how inhuman everything that all those who are looking forward to this are doing is. Forever with Aleksandar Vučić! Serbia will win!”, Brnabić wrote and added a link to the news from The National Independent from May 2nd, which says that Trump and Vučić will meet in Florida.

But below that post is a community note – a tool that is used on X to add context to a post, usually a fact check. These notes are applied to potentially misleading content using an algorithm.

This particular note on Ana Brnabić’s post says that the National Independent page in question on X is actually the product of artificial intelligence, that it was only created in 2023, and that it is fake news that no other relevant media agency has reported.

That's why many now say that it was better if Ana Brnabić did not defend Vučić because she did him more harm.

Also, some state that the controversial news site has changed its name several times and was called Nacionalni list, among other things, and that it only has about twenty thousand followers on X.
