Su-35S Fighter Jets Provide Air Cover for Border Areas of Kursk Oblast

Russian Su-35S fighter jets supported the actions of bombers and attack aircraft in strikes on Ukrainian armored vehicles in border areas of Kursk Oblast, the Russian Defense Ministry announced.

"The crews of the Su-35S multi-role fighters with ultra-maneuverable thrust vector control of the Russian Aerospace Forces have completed air cover for the crews of the Aerospace Forces in the border areas of the Kursk region. When performing combat missions, the crews of the Su-35S multi-role fighters practiced air cover in a designated area for the operations of bombers and attack aircraft and army helicopter aviation when delivering air strikes on armored vehicles and personnel of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said, TASS reported.

Russian air defense systems shot down 15 drones overnight

Russian air defense systems destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones overnight, the local Defense Ministry said.

Thirteen drones were shot down over the Black Sea and one each over the Russian border regions of Kursk and Belgorod, the Telegram post said.
