The son of activist and high school teacher Jovan Jovanović Zmaj from Novi Sad told N1 that there is no new information about her condition and that they are not allowed to visit her.
"We haven't received any information. If we hadn't gone directly in front of the Central Prison, we wouldn't even know she was there. We don't know what condition she's in. We don't even know if she's alive. They won't even let us visit her. So, the lawyers have filed complaints and we've asked for permission to visit her, everyone is silent and playing dead," Milan Čanak told TV N1.
He pointed out, quite indignantly, that no one is answering anything, "complete darkness, no one knows anything".
Asked if he expects any information today, he says "we hope for anything, but I think we're asking too much".
"For four days we don't know what her condition is, nothing, nothing, nothing. They don't let her be taken for an examination, to have her kidneys checked, because there could be permanent consequences. So, we don't know anything," he says.
Asked if he has any unofficial information about her condition, he says that "until I see a seal, a signature and who guarantees it, I don't believe anything."
"There's no information, zero, everyone's playing dead," he repeats.
