Saudi Arabia has executed eight convicts in one day, media reported today. The official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said seven of the convicts, four Somalis and three Ethiopians, were executed for drug trafficking.
One Saudi was executed for murdering his mother.
Since the beginning of 2025, Saudi Arabia has executed 230 people, 154 of them for drug-related convictions, according to data reported by AFP based on official statements.
