US Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg said the attack on Ukraine was a "clear violation" of the 1977 Geneva Convention protocols and called for an immediate ceasefire.
"This is Kiev. The indiscriminate killing of women and children at night in their homes is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention peace protocols, designed to protect the innocent. These attacks are shameful. Stop the killing. Ceasefire now," Kellogg said.
