The Palestinian Civil Defense announced this morning that at least 17 people have been killed in Israeli strikes in the Gaza Strip. An attack on a school in Gaza City believed to be housing displaced people killed 11 people and wounded 17 others.
Women and children were among the dead, Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said.
Four people were killed when the Israeli army targeted houses in the eastern Gaza Strip, the Civil Defense announced.
A child was killed in an attack on a house in Jabaliya, in the north, and one person was injured in a strike on Khan Yunis.
