The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully hit a location near the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region, from where the Russian military launched attack drones, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced today.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff on Facebook, the Russian military used the hit facility in Kursk to prepare, equip and launch reconnaissance and strike drones, including unmanned aerial vehicles, Ukrinform reported.
In the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force reportedly managed to eliminate up to 20 drone operators.
The statement added that the attack was carried out on Saturday, April 19.
Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a one-day Easter ceasefire in the war in Ukraine on April 19 from 6:00 p.m. Moscow time, and both sides accused each other of violating it.
