The death toll in Kryvyi Rih has risen to 18, including nine children, with 40 people injured. The Russians attacked the city with a cluster-launched Iskander ballistic missile.
The missile attack, one of the deadliest in recent weeks, took place in a residential area of the industrial city, near a children's playground.
"The number of people killed by the Russians when they launched a missile at Kryvyi Rih is 18. Nine of them were children," said Sergei Lisak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk region administration, after the intervention ended.
