Snow blanketed the northern part of Saudi Arabia, the Al-Jouf region, from Friday to Saturday, November 2, in the morning, turning many places into completely white spaces. This occurrence followed showers, hail and continuous heavy rains that particularly affected the north of Sakaka and Dumat Al-Jandal governorate in that region.
Heavy rains, accompanied by large amounts of hail, continued to occur in different parts of Al-Jouf region since Wednesday, October 30, flooding many valleys, heralding a wonderful spring season.
